Blurb (from Goodreads):

one day i met a guy
who stole my heart,
we created a world
for ourselves.
and another day
he broke my heart
and shattered
my soul.

i took the tattered
pieces of this
broken soul and
became anew.

– here lies the hurting, the healing, and the learning

I’ve been reading Gretchen @ ChicNerdReads‘s poetry on her blog from the very beginning and I completely fell in love with it, she was actually the one who inspired me to read poetry and when I heard she was finally releasing her very own poetry book, I was so excited. I had to wait three weeks to get my hands on this book but it was so worth the wait!

love, and you was raw and powerful. There were so many emotions that lined the pages of this book and it spoke out loud. I was overwhelmed with feelings and I can’t express how much I love this book.

A few of my favourites are:

become
a
warrior
again

you were born one anyway.

I could so much relate to this one-

it’s okay to miss
that person.

it’s okay to cry
in the most random times.

it’s okay to still love
even after all the madness.

you
have
every
right
to fell

fuck anyone who tells you otherwise.

And this ❤ –

while you read your books,
characters will remind you of them.
quotes will speak life upon that
once relationship. and in that
moment take a deep breath,
notice your worth,
and release that breath of stardust.

you come first.

every
single
time

Well, if I continue, I will quote the entire book because it was so freaking good. I enjoyed her writing style so much. I encourage everyone to pick this book up because you will fall in love with it. I devoured this book in one sitting and I can’t wait to read more by Gretchen.

Recommend it?

Yes!

So guys, have you picked love, and you yet? If not, what are you waiting for? And if you have already read it, how was your experience?
