Blurb (from Goodreads):

There are three things Kori knows for sure about her life:

One: Her army general dad is insanely overprotective.

Two: The guy he sent to watch her, Cade, is way too good-looking.

Three: Everything she knew was a lie.

Now there are three things Kori never knew about her life:

One: There’s a device that allows her to jump dimensions.

Two: Cade’s got a lethal secret.

Three: Someone wants her dead.

My Thoughts

This book was such an enjoyable ride and I really, reeeeally need the second book in this series. I want more of Cade and Kori!!

Kori has a habit of doing the exact thing she has been forbidden to do, that’s why her dad hires two soldiers to babysit her when he is away. But trouble comes in the form of Dylan who wants nothing more than to kill her. When her bodyguards tell her the actual reason behind it, she thinks they are out of their mind. But when Dylan chains her to a band in her wrist and gives them the ultimatum to do what he wants or she dies in a couple of days, she is forced to place her trust on them. Will Kori be able to survive?

The plot was pretty enjoyable. I loved how it was executed. Though I have to say the second part of this book was far more enjoyable than the first part and boy did I love the romance between Cade and Kori! Kori’s dad is one of the important figures in the army and due to Kori’s nature he hires some soldiers to take care of her while he’s gone. I liked how the story moved forward and the alternate dimension thing and how everything worked was pretty incredible to read about.

Now, I absolutely fell in love with the characters, especially Cade. The chemistry and the angst between Kori and Cade was just freaking perfect! Both of them tried to stay away from each other but it was crystal clear they felt something for each other despite Cade’s history. I loved these two together and the forbidden element added more spice to the story.

I loved Noah as well, just like Kori, I didn’t know what to think about this guy at the beginning of the story but eventually he warmed up to my heart. I would love to see more about him. Dylan on the other hand, his backstory made me sympathize with him but at the same time didn’t make me hate him any less.

The ending intrigued me, I want to know more why Dylan being Dylan offered a second chance for Kori to have a chance at life when his ultimate aim was to kill her and hurt Cade in the process. I can’t wait to see more of the dimension jumping thingy that is going to be explored in the next book!

Overall, Infinity was an interesting read. The plot was enjoyable and the characters were well fleshed out. The romance between Cade and Kori was electric and I can’t have enough of them! The writing was smooth and it was fast paced. I’m in dire need for book 2!

Recommend it?

Yes.
