This book was reaaaally good! Book one was pretty intriguing and it ended with a cliffhanger and I was curious to know what happened next. Soul Finder definitely didn’t disappoint and I enjoyed the ride! You can read my review of Soulless, book 1 here.
Nadia is on the run with Diesel after being experimented and tortured for being a soulless in a generation of reincarnations. But their journey is stopped short as they are taken by another group. When Nadia discovers a shocking truth, she sets out to search for it. Will she be able to reach the core of the truth or will she be captured before that?
The plot was really intriguing. It picks up from where book 1 was left off. We dive back right into action and it’s one my favourite aspect of this series. Nadia and Diesel both escaped the prison where they were beaten, tortured and experimented, especially Nadia. They are both searching for a cure to stop the reincarnation drama because it’s taking a toll on everybody’s sanity and if it’s replaced by another drug, then there’s no hope for humanity left. This book was packed with action and adventure and I loved how the story was executed. The starting of this book was a bit dull but it picked up its pace soon enough.
I did like Diesel and Nadia’s realtionship in book 1 though it was kinda out of place. But in this book Diesel confused me more than ever. I know he went through a lot and reincarnation memories takes a toll on everybody but it was still weird because he felt different. I guess that was the point, though at the very last moment, like Nadia I felt for him. Nadia was a kickass heroine and I loved her. Hiro was a great addition to the team, although he was pretty naive about the world, I enjoyed how he found a place among them.
Overall. Soul Finder was a good read! I enjoyed the plot and the characters. The writing was smooth and easy to read. The pace differed a little in the beginning but it was mostly fast paced. This book also ended in a kind of cliffhanger and I can’t wait to know what happens next!
