This book was so damn sweet! I feel so happy because this month has started in a great bookish way and I’m loving almost every book I am reading and I am glad this book was no exception!
Olivia and Danny has been best friends for a long time but when Olivia ends up pregnant and her boyfriend leaves her, she ends up with a weird and crazy plan that involves Danny. When she ultimately ends up announcing that Danny is her fiance and they are expecting a baby together, the news spreads like wildfire. Although Danny doesn’t like the plan but he has never said no to Olivia. But when they start living together, one thing leads to another, can they control their hearts before it’s too late?
I enjoyed the plot so much! It was fun and unique! Olivia ends up getting pregnant but her boyfriend refuses to acknowledge her anymore and afraid of her mother’s judgement, she ends up wiring Danny into her mess. But Danny being the best friend he is decides to take care of her. Olivia becomes afraid when she starts having feeling for Danny because she knows Danny will never settle down because of a certain medical condition which will cause blindness as he grows old. I loved how the plot progressed and their chemistry was undeniable.
I liked Olivia, she falls in love easily but she never thought once in a million year that she’ll fall for Danny. Danny was a great guy, caring and selfless. I did understand his insecurities and reason for pushing away Olivia but I was glad when he understood the real deal. I also loved the way he took care of her! The romance between them was perfect. I also liked the other minor characters who played a significant part in this book, especially Danny’s friends. I sooo need to read the previous books in this series because I got pretty curious about them!
Overall, The Best Friend Bargain was a great read. The plot was fun and the characters were engaging. I really enjoyed the romance between Danny and Olivia. The writing was smooth and easy to read and the pace was even throughout the book. I will be looking forward to read more books by this author.
