Life Updates-

Nothing much happened other than the fact that I had fun in the Christmas Holidays! My little brother’s final exams finished this month, so along with him and my uncle and aunt I went to visit Nicco Park, an amusement park in my city. I had loooots of fun that day. Visiting Nicco Park in the winter is kind of a tradition for my family but for the last five to six years we weren’t able to go due to various reasons, so I was ecstatic when I finally got to visit there after so many years. We buyed the package tickets where we were given a wrist band so we didn’t have to buy Β a single ticket for every ride and that’s why we rode every ride twice or thrice. It was just soooo fun! Also I rode the roller coaster for the first time in my life!

I cannot believe I actually rode this!!! Aaargh! This is one of the biggest in India. I know many of you have rode roller coasters already which are much bigger than this but for me this experience was SCARILY EPIC! You should have seen me screaming, I was screaming like a total maniac and when the ride was complete I couldn’t stop laughing and squealing like an idiot! πŸ˜› I was just so exited!

On 29th, me and two of school friends decided to hang out together so we went to the Eco Park. God, the place was so huge! And beautiful. We couldn’t finish walking the whole park. πŸ˜› But we had a great time posing and taking pictures. Usually I hate taking pictures but with friends, the experience becomes totally different. It was fun after meeting them after such a long time.

2016 Goals!

Reading Goals- I set my Goodreads reading goal for 2015 at 50 but I ended up crossing 140. I want to set it a bit higher but I don’t know what’s going to happen next year, so I think I will set it at 70. Not too low not too high. πŸ™‚ Also, I want to finish all the paperbacks that are collecting dust on my shelves along with the ebooks as well that I bought this year.

Blogging Goals- I want to request less ARCs because seriously, sometimes it becomes hectic to finish all the books by the time limit. Also I might do my discussion post twice a month instead of posting only once and will try to be more creative and comment more on other blogs. I love commenting but my crappy internet connection comes in the way sometimes and that is finally going to change next year. Phew and yayiee!

Life Goals- I really want to concentrate on my studies (I say that every year, every month!) and be a good daughter (This I can try…). Also…. I want to write my first draft. (A bit ambitious…. I know.) But atleast I want to start it and I plan on participating in NaNoWriMo 2016!

Hopefully, I’ll be able to finish my goals for 2016 successfully!

And advanced Happy New Year people! *cheers* Here’s to a new beginning…

Meet you wonderful people in the next post. Till then be safe and stay bookish! ❀

  1. I struggle with the exact same problem with my Goodreads reading goal! I never know what the year is going have in store so I always seem to low ball it.

I’m doing the same thing with ARCs. I’ve created a reading list spreadsheet for the month and I hope that will help restrict me from hitting that “request” button.

    Happy New Year!

  2. ~10 books in 2014 to 100+ in 2015? Girl, that’s incredible! I so understand your worries with ARCs. I am ridiculously behind. I usually post my review on the day the book is released… but I have some since October. It’s making me feel anxious to read them now. Sigh. Plus, I don’t have time to read books I purchase if I keep requesting. I’m going to start limiting requests to be books I really, really want from now on. Netgalley is evil (tempting)!

  3. I love roller coasters, so Nicco Park looks like a lot of fun. Though I’ve been on larger ones, I love that every roller coaster is so unique – hope I’ll get to visit this park when I go to India later on this year.
Good luck with all of your goals for 2016! Keep on reading at that amazing pace of yours!
