Blurb (from Goodreads):

He lived next door.

Alison Eckrich was an expert at being invisible. Having been raised by a mother who saw only flaws, she had learned long ago to watch and never participate. Until him. He was gorgeous from what little she could make out through his bathroom window and he awakened things inside her she had always been told was wrong. But she didn’t care.

She was addicted.

Gabriel Madoc was no stranger to the cold sting of betrayal. His broken heart had left him hard and bitter and that was how he liked it. Until her. She was a vision in the soft twilight. Everything about her called to him. It didn’t even matter he couldn’t see her face.

He wanted her.

The rules were simple: No names. No faces. No attachments. They both had what the other needed so long as they never broke the rules. But what will happen when the mystery is unveiled and they both come face to face with the truth and each other? Is what they shared in the cloak of darkness enough to keep them together, or will reality tear them apart?

This was definitely a hot and sexy read. Atleast I need this kind of reads once in a while and the plot was great and the characters were awsome which was a bonus. I liked this book, a lot.

The book has alternative POVs of both the main characters- Ali and Gabe, so we get to learn everything from both their perspectives. They develop a cyber relationship with each other and they agree to keep their identities secret from one another until they are ready to see each another. And this thing leads to the next and they develop a far more deeper connection than only sex. But when they actually learn the truth, sort of hell breaks loose.

The plot was great. I loved the mystery and the intrigue that was maintained throughout the book. The secret identities between them were so much fun to read. I loved the sense of humour of the author and there was a lot of funny moments that I throughly enjoyed. Though it would have been so much better if there were a few more chapters with them together when they finally came to know the truth.

The characters were totally awsome. I loved Ali, she was a total introvert but a witty and a snarky character. She loved observing people around her but in no sense she was a pervert. Gabe was an asshole but he maintained that wall or image because he didn’t want to allow anybody in his heart again but somehow Ali stole his way into his heart. They had a love-hate relationship. Their attraction was undeniable, there was a crackling chemistry between them. They were both “voyeurs” in the sense, that is, they loved observing one another. The connection that “Q” and “Aoife” share was great to read about and I loved that not all their interactions were about sex. Even though they made a deal to form no attachments, that’s just what they did. They became so much more to each other.

The writing was beautiful and easy to read. I finished this book in two days. I would definitely be looking forward to her other books.

Overall, this was a fun and sexy read that waa throughly enjoyable. I loved the interaction between the characters and the plot was well maintained.

Recommend it?

If you love fun and sexy, then definitely yes.
